Well, as for chatting in English, I prefer strangers But it*s nice idea, someone can help you by correcting your mistakes. Moreover, the English here is simpler than that of Englishmen.

I would advise using Firefox with spell-checking add-on, it finds your syntax mistakes, so if you make some spelling error, it will be underlined in red.

Well, bad spelling happens mostly to English people, you know, when you speak some language before you can write, you learn the phonetic version (how does it sound), but you can*t spell it (you don*t know how to properly write it). I can see plenty of people writing "you*re a looser" (they are mostly losers themselves) and so on.
